Empowerment Projects

Driving sustainable change through grassroots initiatives.

Water Conservation

We rejuvenated 14 lakes with a total capacity of 2,20,000 cubic meters, adding 22 crore liters of water storage. Additionally, 16,250+ meters of inlet and outlet canals across 10 lakes were restored to improve rainwater flow to farmlands and neighboring lakes. We also revived 6 open wells for agriculture, 2 wells for drinking water, and implemented rooftop rainwater harvesting systems in 10 households and 4 government high schools.

Environmental Sustainability & Afforestation

We planted over 750 saplings near Minijenahalli lake for World Environment Day and supported 10 small farmers by planting 850 mango trees. To promote nutrition, 520 women from O. Mittur Grama Panchayat received fruit saplings. Additionally, 500 saplings were planted in Veerashettyhalli and 450 on government land in Nagasandra to encourage social forestry. We also distributed millet seeds to 48 farmers across 5 villages to promote sustainable agriculture.
